Concerned About Secrecy – Get Blackphone

Keeping information secret has become one of the toughest jobs do to now-a-days. For those who
love to be secret, Blackphone is the ultimate mobile they have to get.

Blackphone is developed by SGP technologies, a joint venture of GeeksPhone (Spanish smart phone
maker) and Silent Circle (Canadian encrypted communications firm). This smartphone works in a
unique way. All the data passing through this phone – messages, calls, emails, internet – all are
encrypted. Nothing can be tracked by intruder.

This Blackphone is not recommended just because it can keep secret. They don’t provide super
security mobile with junk configuration. This mobile has all other features that a common
smartphone should have.

Blackphone runs on PrivatOS, which is based on Android 4.4.2. It has 2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 16 GB flash storage. With an IPS LCD display of 120mm (1280x800 resolution) and 5MP front / 8MP back cameras, picture quality is guaranteed.  For connectivity Bluetooth class 4.0 LE and WiFi (b/g/n). It has inbuilt sensors for Gravity, Light, Proximity and Magnet.

Though they provide internet through VPN, there is one problem with this super-secret gadget. In
order to be secured, you should use its default apps only.  Now the company has come with a
solution to address this problem.

A new private app store is about to be introduced exclusively for this Blackphone.  This store will be
called “Silent Space” and will feature loads of silent-branded apps.  This app store will complete
Blackphone and get rid of its only disadvantage. It will be launched in January 2015.

Ultimately the super-secret phone is now made available for app lovers also.

No more Internet Explorer ?

Yes. You read the title right. Internet Explorer may not be there in the upcoming version of Windows. No more IE trolls over internet ! According to various news sources, instead of IE Windows 10 might have a brand new browser codenamed as Spartan. The browser which is about to come in near future may not come up with same name, but MS is trying to give a new default browser. Giving new name induces that they have came out of the traditional IE. MS is trying to make this new browser simple, light-weight and more user-friendly. The new browser may be like Mozilla's Firefox and Google's Chrome browsers. The latest IE version is 11. Instead of IE 12, they might bring up this brand new browser in Windows 10 desktop/mobile version. It is not clear whether this new browser will be introduced in January when many new features of Windows 10 will be revealed. But more likely with official release you can find this browser. Along with Spartan, Windows 10 will also have IE 11 for backward compatibility. Microsoft is getting ready to tackle challenges in browser end with Spartan.

Sony - From Bad to Worse

2014 - Not so good for Sony

Sony Pictures was hacked last November by a group of hackers called Guardians of Peace.
The group didn't just breach the security and exposed the vulnerability of tech giant, they also acquired some big amount of data (estimated as approximately 11,000 GB of files).
Sony was threatened by attackers that if they didn't agree with the demands, sensitive data will be released by them into internet.

It is not the first time Sony has been attacked technically on last November. Earlier they were attacked by DerpTrolling. DerpTrolling went on revealing thousands of user details into internet.
This year has been really bad to Sony. Their stocks were down. Their e-book section was shut down last February. Their play-station network was attacked last August by Distributed Denial of Service attacks.

Although Guardians of Peace claimed that they made the attack on Sony Pictures recently, it is widely believed that North Korea was involved in this attack.
Sony Pictures was about to release a movie called "The Interview" which has a story-line related to Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader.
No matter who initiated the attack, North Koreans or the Guardians of Peace, it is one of the devastating security breaches this year.

2014 is not over yet, so as sony's worries. Now the employees of Sony are getting threats from the Guardians of Peace.
They threat the employees that not only them, but the life of their family will also be in danger if they didn't agree that what their employer do is wrong.

Sony has not responded for the threat to its employees. But no matter what they say, this year can't get any worse for them :/
